Prankster Planet was a show on the Electric Company about an island in space called Prankster Planet. (It's an island because the planets are round) In the show, the pranksters on Prankster Planet are planning to take over the world by removing or reversing all the words on planet Earth, and it's up to Jessica and Marcus to stop them.
There were 2 seasons of Prankster Planet. The first season was about the Wordsuckeruppernator, which was a giant ray gun that sucked up words. The duo had to press 13 buttons throughout the island to shut it down. The next season was about the Reverse-a-ball, which where a set of 8 statues that spat out purple word balls that reversed words on earth, all 8 of which had to be shut down.
The pranksters are Manny, the one who designed the Wordsuckeruppernator, Francine, a bratty girl who annoys the duo, treats everything like a game show, and may or may not have built the Reverse-a-ball machines (we can't be sure if she built them herself, or got Manny to do it for her), Danny Rebus, who can make anything he wants so long as he can make it as a Rebus code, and Annie Scrambler, who scrambles and rearrange letters and words.
In addition to the 4 main pranksters, Prankster Planet is populated by 100s apon 100s of pet bots. Robots with treads and arms attached to a head made from hardhats, helmets, and safety cones, all programmed to only serve the pranksters, be it working as free labor to build stuff, keeping unwanted guests in check, defending the Wordsuckeruppernator off buttons or Reverse-a-ball machines, or just being an audience if you consider what Francine does. All 3 kinds of pet bots come in not only a male or female design, but also a normal, or bigger-sized version, they also love a good joke.
while it has been confirmed they got there via the electric dinner transforming into a spaceship Some people wonder how Marcus and Jessica will escape Prankster Planet. This is unknown and is left as an exercise to the reader.
& in the end of each episode when that one red button beeps, Jessica & Marcus Hollers “Hey You Guys!” As it zooms out of the planet, & in the end of episode 5 of prankster planet, Manny hollers “Hey You Guys!” as it zooms out of the planet.
